A Overview of our Services
Personal Development
This is critical in the world that we live in. Some people naturally develop these skills. Purnell will provide a refresher to some and introduce to others the following skills:
• How to maintain a healthy balance between work and life.
• How to prioritize, delegate & use resources to manage time better
• Learn how to listen for understanding and how to respond appropriately.
Learn how to manage your emotions and fears and deal with others' negative behaviors positively. Much more…..
Financial Acumen
Many have traveled down the road where debt had become a problem. Often this road has led to a ‘dead end’ where those travelers have ended up not learning the functions or behaviors of money. You will have the opportunity to learn how to manage money, minimize your tax liability, and magnify your wealth. Advanced topics in finance, and wealth management will be shared with you. Free financial coaching sessions will be available.
Profitable
This is the foundation of Health & Wellness, Financial Literacy, and Personal Development. Makes Hope Tangible is based on The Word of God. The bible says that ‘…people perish because of a lack of knowledge…’, and ‘…faith without works is dead…’. The bible is the foundation of our success. The semi-monthly bible study will reinforce the other concepts listed.
Kidney Health & Wellness
As a Kidney recipient, Purnell has experienced many health encounters. You are invited to attend a semi-monthly meeting, in which we will discuss and share challenges, suggestions, and support in addressing health, wellness dieting, exercise, and motivation. The advice that will be shared will come from people who have or are currently experiencing End-Stage Renal Disease. Personal coaching will be available to those whom may know of someone seeking a kidney donor. I was once that someone.
College Planning & Funding
B. Purnell Wright, Jr. enjoys working closely with both students and their parents to develop a customized college funding plan. Our goal is to develop a plan that will maximize federal funding. Purnell strongly suggests starting early in the planning process. Planning early allows the parents to leverage compound interest. Also, part of the process is to educate the family about the other funding sources to cover college expenses, including grants, scholarships, work-study, and contributions from relatives. We will also consider accounts with unique tax structures to help make the most of your money, such as 529 college savings plan, Uniform Gifts to Minors Act/Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (UGMA/UTMA), Coverdell Education Savings Account (ESA) as well as some additional non-traditional methods.
